Mr Venkatesh Subramanian is a Consultant Gynaecologist at King's College Hospital and King's Fertility, specialising in hysteroscopic surgery and reproductive medicine. He is Clinical Lead for Hysteroscopy at King's College Hospital and serves as the RCOG South London Preceptor for hysteroscopy training, providing advanced surgical education and mentorship to trainees across the region. He also holds an Honorary Senior Lectureship at King's College London and is the founder and chairman of the King's Hysteroscopy Society. Mr Subramanian graduated in medicine from the University of Nottingham and completed postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology at leading London teaching hospitals. He subsequently undertook a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at King's Fertility, where he developed advanced expertise in assisted reproductive technologies (ART). His clinical practice integrates reproductive medicine with complex hysteroscopic procedures, with a particular focus on hysteroscopic surgery for fertility. He has authored publications in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national and international scientific meetings, and lectured widely on the subject. He is currently lead author for the forthcoming British Fertility Society Policy and Practice Guideline on the management of endometrial polyps and fertility.
